Job Profile:

We are seeking an expert in aluminum material processing to address key quality issues in our cast-rolled aluminum foil production. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in improving product quality, particularly by resolving surface defects such as irregular marks and contamination by aluminum powder, which affect downstream processes.

Job Responsibilities:

Quality Improvement: Develop and implement solutions to address the irregular, worm-like curved marks formed during the annealing process of cast-rolled aluminum foil products.
Surface Cleanliness Enhancement: Investigate and resolve the issue of aluminum powder adhering to the surface of thinner foil products, which affects downstream processes such as coating and laminating.
Process Optimization: Collaborate with production teams to optimize the rolling, annealing, and surface treatment processes to improve product quality and consistency.
Research & Development: Lead or participate in research and collaborative studies to explore new methods, technologies, or equipment that can enhance the surface quality of cast-rolled aluminum foil.
Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to production teams to ensure the successful implementation of quality enhancement strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and downstream customer teams to understand the requirements and constraints of aluminum foil processing and surface cleanliness.
Testing & Monitoring: Design and conduct experiments to test potential solutions and monitor the impact of implemented changes on product quality.
Documentation & Reporting: Document processes, findings, and progress in technical reports, ensuring clear communication with senior management and other relevant departments.

Job Requirements:

Educational Background: PhD's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in aluminum material processing, particularly with cast-rolled aluminum foil products.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of the aluminum foil manufacturing process, including annealing, rolling, and surface treatments. Expertise in surface cleanliness and defect reduction techniques is essential.
Problem Solving: Proven ability to address complex technical challenges related to surface defects, contamination, and process optimization.
Research & Innovation: Experience in research and development of new materials, processes, or techniques for quality enhancement.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across different departments and with external partners.
Languages: Proficiency in English is required. Fluency in additional languages is a plus, especially for international collaboration.
