- Cybersecurity Frameworks & Standards: Understanding of common frameworks and standards like ISO, NIST, MITRE, COBIT, and CMMI for information security.
- Technical Literacy: Familiarity with key technology concepts including the OSI model, TCP/IP protocol stack, surface web, deep web, and dark web.
- Independent Learning: Ability to research new topics, identify credible sources, and present well-structured, fact-based information.
- Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly and concisely.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering, BCA, or MCA.
Job Description
As a cybersecurity intern at Airbus, you will be responsible for scanning systems for vulnerabilities and fixing them, reading log files, do a forensic analysis of different scenarios. You will also help develop security tools and applications.
- Conduct research on emerging cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities relevant to the industry.
- Assist the Security Team by analyzing identified vulnerabilities and tracking their mitigation progress.
- Participate in operational activities related to both physical and cyber security.
- Assist the Cybersecurity Operations team in responding to and documenting cybersecurity incidents.
- Contribute to various security projects, including:
- Forensic analysis of security incidents
- Security audits and risk assessments
- Penetration testing (with guidance)
- Develop scripts to automate log analysis tasks.
- Security Documentation & Tools:
- Assist in the creation of security tools and applications (with guidance).
- Help develop security runbooks, playbooks, guidelines, and procedures for the security team.
- Gather and organize documentation and metrics related to different security tools and processes.
