Required Key Skills & Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's degree (B.Tech or M.Tech) in Engineering or a related field.

• 0-2 years of experience in software engineering, with at least one internship.

• Proficiency in backend programming languages (Python, Java, Node.js, TypeScript).

• Familiarity with web scraping frameworks and libraries (Beautiful Soup, Selenium, Scrapy).

• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, and web structures).

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP preferred). This could include:

• AWS: EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, ECR, ECS
• GCP: BigQuery

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker)

Job Description

As a software development engineer at Anakin, you will be primarily working on optimizing, modifying, and developing the crawlers for more accurate product combinations. You will utilize various systems and tools to achieve that. 

Key responsibilities:

• Develop crawlers and platforms using networking tools, proxy tools, and servers.

• Ensure affordability and high-frequency operation of the crawlers.

• Adapt data collection methods for the growing use of e-commerce apps.

• Work on a critical task that forms the foundation for pricing insights.

• Participate in building a SAAS product from the ground up.

• Help solve customer data challenges in an early-stage startup environment.
