Required Key Skills & Eligibility Criteria
- Expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using popular tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean), and best practices for continuous delivery and automation.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms like Azure, including infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer at Cognizant, you will be responsible for building and releasing automation and automating infrastructures. You will analyze and manage logs as well. You will be closely working with the internal team for effectiveness.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement and manage continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for small and medium projects, ensuring alignment with target architectures and operating models.
- Develop packaging and deployment documentation and scripts for production deployments.
- Participate in project discovery phases to define high-level designs for automation solutions.
- Develop infrastructure automation tools like playbooks and cookbooks for configuration management.
- Automate infrastructure setup on cloud platforms, including tool installation, hypervisor management, complex network configuration, and storage provisioning.
- Implement log management solutions, including listener configuration, complex search query development, tool installation, administrative tasks, and custom script creation for enhanced log handling.
