Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or a related field) with a strong focus on Networking and Mainframes.
- 0-1 year of experience (as per Mastercard HR policy).
- Proficiency in working with network infrastructure, including CCNA-level skills (or equivalent knowledge).
- Basic understanding of mainframe technology, particularly Tandem systems.
- Ability to analyze past events to identify root causes of problems.
- Experience following established procedures for issue handling, escalation, and reporting.
- Strong skills in managing incidents and problems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with a global customer base and resolve issues without unnecessary escalation.

Job Description
As an Enterprise Operations engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing issues and also give and take proper instructions to solve them. You will also be collaborating with different teams for effective task completion.
Key responsibilities:
- This role involves recognizing potential problems (alerts) and converting them into official incidents. You'll then work to resolve these incidents efficiently.
- You'll collaborate with various vendors to ensure they address identified problems promptly. This likely involves phone calls and email communication.
- Strong networking skills are essential. You'll need to use network commands to check logs, share information with internal teams and external vendors, and route traffic as needed to minimize disruptions.
- Some basic knowledge of working in a mainframe terminal environment is required to assist with credit and debit card transaction issues.
- While not mandatory, experience or interest in automation is a plus, as it can help improve efficiency.
- This is a fixed night shift role, spanning 12 hours (either a 3-day or 4-day work pattern, 6:30 PM IST to 6:30 AM IST).
- The role requires a hybrid work model, with a minimum of 3 days working from the office as per management guidelines.
