Job Description
As a Software Engineer at Quick Heal develop, modify, and analyze large code bases. Also, prepare test cases and debug errors. You will be actively working on fixing bugs on code bases and work with the internal team for more effectiveness.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and fix bugs in code written in various languages like C, C++, Java, or JavaScript. (Requires strong programming skills in at least one of these languages)
- Possess a foundation in basic data structures like arrays, vectors, and linked lists.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of operating system concepts like processes, threads, synchronization, file handling, and memory management (in Linux, Windows, or Mac).
- Independently set up development and testing environments, write and execute tests, and report bugs based on minimal guidance.
- Effectively analyze problems and propose solutions through strong analytical and programming skills.
- Proactively ask relevant questions to peers and seniors regarding the product, technology, and domain to gain deeper knowledge.
- Continuously learn and acquire product and domain expertise throughout the role.
- Clearly and effectively communicate with colleagues to understand and contribute to product-related discussions about architecture, design, and functionalities.
