Required Key Skills & Eligibility Criteria

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field (or recent completion thereof).

• Strong programming skills in languages like Node.js or Go.

• Familiarity with backend development frameworks, libraries, and tools.

• Basic understanding of web technologies, protocols, and APIs.

• Knowledge of databases (including SQL) and database design principles.

• Passion for cybersecurity and wanting to stay updated on industry trends.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have:

Job Description

As a backend developer intern at CloudSEK, you will be designing, building, and maintaining large codebases. You will also closely work with the development team to build projects according to the client's requirements. 

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, build, and maintain the backend systems powering our cybersecurity products.

• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using languages like Node.js or Go.

• Work closely with front-end developers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver high-quality and integrated software solutions.

• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure well-written, maintainable code.

• Debug and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues to keep systems running smoothly.

• Continuously learn about the latest trends and advancements in backend development and cybersecurity to stay at the forefront of the field.

• Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation, user guides, and other materials to ensure clear communication and knowledge transfer.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of development processes and best practices within the team.
